IS 2004 THE YEAR OF BLOGGING FOR PROFIT?

I hope so. Despite contrarians who think blogging is a lot of blather, I’m convinced blogs are here to stay. Why? A blog is an elegant self-publishing (or content management) tool. A blog can turn the most static of business Web sites into a dynamic marketing and communications vehicle. OK, it’s late and I’ve drunk the kool aid. But I really do believe this. See below.

I think if a person who makes blog have one thing in mind - making money - it don’t work for him. You have to make your blog interesting to attract people and may be than you can try making money on it - but not at first time.

    this is my own opinion.

I too believe blogging is here to stay. Although I just started blogging “seriously” a few months back, I have seen people blogging for more than two years. As is the case with every new innovation, lots of people jumped onto the bandwagon and then fell off.

A blog sort of forces the webmaster to update the content regularly. It is crucial, as more and more search engines are giving prominence to routinely updated and relevant content.
